Heavy metal analysis, an essential tool for environmental preservation

First, heavy metals are chemical elements often found in soils contaminated by industrial activities, waste storage, or even intensive pesticide use. When found in high concentrations, they can have serious toxic effects on human and animal health.

Heavy metal analysis therefore makes it possible to detect their presence, locate sources of pollution, and assess environmental risks. Finally, it is a crucial step in understanding the state of soils and implementing appropriate protective measures.

A precise and rapid method for assessing soil contamination

The analysis begins with the rigorous collection of soil samples, which are then sent to a COFRAC-accredited laboratory. This certification guarantees reliable results that comply with current standards.

With processing times generally less than 10 days, this analysis provides a rapid assessment of soil pollution. It therefore offers the opportunity to intervene effectively to limit risks and implement corrective actions.

The benefits of heavy metal analysis

There are many benefits to having soils analyzed for heavy metals.

  • To begin with, it helps protect public health by reducing the risks associated with exposure to toxic substances.
  • Then, this analysis helps to identify the sources of pollution by locating the most affected areas for targeted action.
  • Finally, it promotes informed decision-making, thus facilitating the management and rehabilitation of polluted land.

Towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future

  • First of all, carrying out an analysis actively contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and the creation of a safer environment.
  • Furthermore, proactive management of polluted soils is essential to ensure a sustainable future, both for ecosystems and for future generations.
  • So, order your heavy metal analysis today and take the necessary steps to ensure healthy soils.
  • Finally, this action helps preserve our planet and ensure a healthier living environment for all.

Dimensions:

Reusable collection kit box: 20cm x 18cm x 10cm weighing approximately 110 grams.

The test kit includes a sample collection bag, instructions, shipping box, and prepaid postage.

Nothing could be simpler!

  1. Take your soil sample: Dig the area to be analyzed to a depth of 30 cm. To ensure the sample is representative, dig in several places on your plot.
  2. Condition your soil: Mix the collected soil in a clean bucket to obtain a homogeneous sample, then fill the provided bag, avoiding stones, leaves, or wood. Make sure it is tightly sealed and does not exceed 500g.
  3. Send your sample: Place the collection bag in the reusable shipping carton. Affix the provided DHL label to the package. Seal the box using the provided tape. Take your package to the nearest DHL Express point.

Operating mode

The analysis kit is quick and easy to use. You'll receive a detailed, digital, concise, and easy-to-understand report. You'll not only receive information on the quality of your soil, but also tailored advice on how to improve it.

Why analyze metals in soil?

Metals in soil come from natural sources, such as rock weathering and volcanic activity, as well as anthropogenic sources, such as industrial activities, agriculture, transportation, urbanization, and waste.

These metals can accumulate in food chains and contaminate water resources. Analysis is crucial to assess pollution risks, plan remediation actions and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
