accreditation

COFRAC

COFRAC (French Accreditation Committee) is the official body in France that accredits laboratories according to the ISO 17025 standard. Created at the initiative of the public authorities, this non-profit association's mission is to ensure the competence and impartiality of control bodies, including testing and analysis laboratories.
Accreditation means that an independent third-party body (COFRAC) has audited and recognized that the laboratory complies with the standard.
This COFRAC accreditation provides assurance of quality and competence in the field of chemical analyses.
